My booth at the market!
This year I’m going to try new things! First of all comes blogging of course. Secondly is putting myself out there more! I decided show my work at the Terra at Home Market in Milton. I’m always photographing the places I go and things I see along the way, this is just the first time I’ve really gone through all of them and decided to do something with them. It feels great to see so much of my work matted and ready to frame, as well as to hear all of the amazing comments
Last week a I was chatting with a lovely young family about photography and what kind of art appealed to them. As we were talking the Mom was flipping through my photos, and then she made my day! A giant gasp and a big sparkle in her eye! Needless to say they went home with one of my prints. They made my week though when they returned this past weekend to show it to me all framed and ready for the wall! They took it to Peach Tree Gallery and they did a great job. I always love seeing a finished product. There were so many people enjoying the market and all the samples at every table! My neighbours all had amazing products, including what this little guy was eating. He was enjoying a cookie cup from Indulgables Culinary Creations. He went crazy for it as you can see! Pinecreek Honey has lots of delicious honey and some bee-utiful beeswax candles!
And my neighbour to the left is Wellington Made. Tons of yummy looking preserves that have taken hours to make!
Every couple of weeks I’ll being drawing for a free photo session with 11×14 print! This weeks winner was Karyn Lister! I’ll be contacting her to arrange our session. If you entered and are sad you didn’t win no worries, come and see me at the market to get a free 8×10 from your next session.
Thanks and I’ll see you next Saturday between 10-3 at the Milton Terra Greenhouse, 12800 Britannia Road.
